With our story package deadline approaching soon, the entire process is in its final stages and I am wrapping up all of my work. Where I am at this point is making all of the edits that my professor has suggested and perfecting the finishing touches to my story package. Social media platforms have grown in popularity over the past few years, and have become a place where people can not only express themselves, but for business purposes as well, serving as a marketing tool. Something fairly new to Instagram is the “Try Instagram Business Tools” option. This option allows each user to turn their platform into a business or brand. With the first rough draft and visuals deadline approaching, my progress on my story package project has been progressing. I had the pleasure of interviewing one of my sources on March 8 who is an Instagram blogger/influencer, and I am meeting with another Instagram blogger/influencer this Friday, March 22, who happens to be a professional tennis player as well. It has been so much fun diving into my class project that I am conducting on San Diego based bloggers and influencers.
